Our Mission

We live in the most technologically connected age in the history of civilisation, yet rates of loneliness have doubled since the 1980s. Today, over 40% of adults in America report feeling lonely, and research suggests that the real number may well be higher. Loneliness and weak social connections are associated with a reduction in lifespan similar to that caused by smoking 15 cigarettes a day and even greater than that associated with obesity.


With the shift for people to work from home, this is only increasing this sense of loneliness and many people are struggling to differentiate their time between work and play. Impacting the quality of their relationships with those they are closest to.  At Focused we support Founders to carefully curate and cultivate a connected company culture to motivate and inspire. Providing a sense of belonging that your remote team will not want to leave.

Our Purpose

At Focused, we're passionate about helping Focused Founders, and their teams, achieve success through the power of effective listening and engagement.   Research states 80% of managers’ time is spent in meetings! Is this time well spent?

We believe that every business deserves the opportunity to reach its full potential, and that starts with having the right tools and skills to succeed.

Our Story

Austin Nicholas, has been working as in event planning since 2001,  he has seen first-hand how company culture can not be developed or fixed solely outside the workplace. Despite tens of thousands of euros being spent, companies were missing a fundamental piece of the culture 'jigsaw'.


"I had orchestrated a corporate retreat for a high growth tech firm and whilst sitting in the conference room I looked around at the tired, hungover eyes of all attendees and thought to myself there must be a better way of building an engaged workforce than this".


This presented quite a major problem - company culture has to be developed and nurtured both internally and externally - and the prime opportunity for people to relate with one another purposefully is not only during an off-site but also in meetings with purpose. FOCUSED was born.

We experienced the challenges, firsthand in our own start-ups and wanted to create a solution to help other startups and scale ups avoid the same mistakes.  We realised the importance of understanding before being understood and to lead customers to your product, rather than 'pushing' your product on to anyone and everyone who expresses an interest.

Our Team

The Focused team is a dynamic group of individuals from different generations, each bringing a unique perspective and wealth of experience to the table. Our team comprises of a Gen X, Millennial, Baby Boomer and Gen Z, ensuring a diverse range of opinions are presented and audience needs are catered for. We pride ourselves on our ability to work collaboratively and effectively, leveraging our diverse backgrounds to achieve exceptional results for our clients.
